The New Croft is thrilled to announce the incredible success of its fundraising efforts for Sophie Grey, Facilities Manager, who tragically lost her family home in a devastating fire last July.
Sophie, known for her unwavering dedication to the community and her tireless efforts in raising funds for local charities, has received overwhelming support from The New Croft and the wider community during this challenging time.
Over the past seven months, The New Croft has rallied together, organising various fundraising events and initiatives to support Sophie and her family. Through the collective efforts of directors, staff, volunteers, and the local community, an outstanding total of £11,500 has been raised to provide essential support and assistance to Sophie as she rebuilds her home following the tragic event.
Peter Betts, CEO of The New Croft, expressed his profound gratitude for the outpouring of support, stating, “What an amazing effort by everyone. I am extremely proud of all my directors, staff, volunteers, and the local community for coming together in the way it did to support Sophie after such a tragic event last year.”
Betts continued, “The volume of people that came together to provide contributions and support the events put on was simply fantastic, which is evident with the volume of money raised. I am delighted that these funds should support providing Sophie and her family some normality again in the coming months.”

She has a vibrant personality and always puts others first, which supports building such positive relationships with our customers. This has been noticeable evident across the site over the past year with the volume of support she has received.”
