Groundshare agreement confirmed with Cambridge City Women for the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
The Cambridgeshire tier four side will have use of The New Croft’s main stadium grass pitch and 3G stadia pitch for all first team Women’s fixtures.
Cambridge City FC are currently undertaking works to build a new stadium at Sawston to enable them to bring the men’s, female and youth section under one roof.
Lois Balfour, Football Development Officer at The New Croft: “It’s no hidden fact that we are passionate about promoting girls and women’s football on the site. We are delighted to be offering Cambridge City a professional football environment for them to perform for the 2023/24 season.
“The New Croft is a community hub for all and we are pleased that clubs are able to approach us to use our ever growing facility.”
