The New Croft and The New Croft Foundation are delighted to announce the renewal of their sponsorship agreement with Ruby Grey for another year, as we celebrate one incredible year of supporting her journey in the world of darts.
Ruby’s rise in the sport has been nothing short of phenomenal. In a short peirod, she has gone from playing darts locally with her dad to becoming the current WDF English Open title holder. She’s now ranked number four in the WDF world rankings for U18 girls and has earned a place in the England Girls Youth Squad.
Next up, Ruby will represent England at the European Championships in Holland this July. Before that, she will complete in Selsey on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June to defend her British Open title and will also step up to compete in the Women’s competition.

Over the past year of our sponsorship, Ruby has continued to achieve extraordinary milestones. She made her England debut earlier this year, competing at the British International Championships in Skegness, where she was crowned 2025 Under-18s Girls Tri-Nations Champion with teammate Paige Pauling.
Peter Betts, CEO of The New Croft, expressed his pride in the continued partnership: “We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Ruby Grey for another year. Her dedication, talent, and rapid rise in the darts world are truly inspiring – not just to us at The New Croft, but to young people across our community. As a local Haverhill girl representing England on the world stage, Ruby is a fantastic role model, and we’re honoured to be part of her journey for another year.”
As part of our agreement, we also provide promotional exposure to help Ruby build her profile and attract additional sponsorship. We’re excited to share that two more local businesses have joined us in backing Ruby’s journey: G&A Fire Protection, who also backed our recent youth football tour in Italy, and Greene King IPA, an iconic Suffolk-based brand with deep roots in the sporting community.
We warmly invite other businesses and supporters to join us in backing Ruby’s bright future. To get involved, please click here.
